There has to be some advantages to climate change and this is certainly one of them. It is possible to grow and crop your own olives outdoors in the UK. It's not exactly going to scare the Italian olive growers but who cares. For a bit of fun and a lot of satisfaction grow your own olives to enjoy with that gin and tonic (with the lemon from your own citrus tree). Truly spectacular.
